Samantha is developing a comprehensive corporate and securities class action litigation practice. Before being called to the Ontario Bar, she articled with and was a summer student at an international full-service law firm. She has assisted on a wide range of litigation matters such as commercial disputes, intellectual property issues, civil procedure issues and product liability cases.
Samantha was an Editorial Volunteer and an Associate Editor at the Queen’s Law Journal. She also served as a Student Ambassador for the law school and was a research assistant for Professor Mohamed Khimji in Corporate and Securities Law. She entered law school as a recipient of the Queen’s University Faculty of Law Entrance Scholarship and consistently received the Senator Frank Carrel Upper Year Scholarship.
Prior to law school, she graduated from the University of Toronto with High Distinction in Political Science, minoring in History and Book & Media Studies, While completing her undergraduate degree, she was an editor and researcher of Holocaust survivor testimonies for the Azrieli Foundation. She was also a student media analyst for the G7 Research Group. During her undergraduate summers, she travelled extensively and worked for film financing companies to read, summarize and analyze potential scripts.
